This process creates a mixture of (1R,2S)-rel-2-(3,4-difluorophenyl)cyclopropanamine and (1S,2R)-rel-2-(3,4-difluorophenyl)cyclopropanamine. The analytical method for this compound is to react it with thionyl chloride in the presence of an acidic catalyst. The reaction yield is determined by measuring the amount of hydrogen chloride produced. Reaction system includes lipase and ticagrelor.
