It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and enzyme inhibitory activities. (-)-Syringaresinol diglucoside is used as an ingredient for preparing a medicine for treating diseases such as arthritis. The activity index of (-)-syringaresinol diglucoside is 0.07%.
