Informação sobre produto
- Cyclopropanesulfinic acid, sodium salt (1:1)
Sodium cyclopropanesulfinate is a chemical substance that is used in the treatment of inflammatory diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis. It has been shown to bind to neutrophils and inhibit their function. Sodium cyclopropanesulfinate has also been found to have anti-inflammatory properties. This drug is metabolized by tautomerization and oxidation, which leads to its conversion into an oxidized form. Sodium cyclopropanesulfinate exhibits anti-cancer activity by inhibiting the growth of cancer cells and inducing apoptosis in certain cancer cell lines. It also inhibits human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) replication, which may be due to the ability of sodium cyclopropanesulfinate to inhibit insulin receptor tyrosine kinase activity.
