Descrição:Sodium 1-tridecanesulfonate is a synthetic anionic surfactant. It has been used as a coupling agent in liquid chromatography and high-performance liquid chromatography, and as a lubricant. Sodium 1-tridecanesulfonate reacts with thiabendazole to form an ion-pair that can be separated by liquid chromatography. This product is also used in the analytical method for chloride ions, which involves ion-exchange on the cation exchanger followed by treatment with surfactant to remove the chloride ions from the resin bed.
