Descrição:Thiotepa is commonly used in the treatment of cancer. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of tumor cells by inhibiting lipid kinase activity and uptake, which leads to tumor cell death. This drug also inhibits antibody response in t47d cells and has been shown to be effective in the diagnosis of infectious diseases such as tuberculosis, chlamydia, and mycoplasma. Thiotepa is a chiral compound that can exist in either the L- or D- form. The D- form of thiotepa has been found to have more potent antitumor effects than the L- form. A recent study on animal tumors showed that ganoderma lucidum was able to increase the antitumor activity of thiotepa.
