Descrição:Toceranib phosphate is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor that is used to treat a variety of cancers. It has been shown to be an effective treatment for solid tumours, such as lung cancer and renal cell carcinoma. Toceranib has also been shown to have anti-angiogenic properties, which may contribute to its antitumor response. One study found that the drug is cleared by the liver and eliminated by the kidneys, with a half-life of approximately 15 hours. A phase II clinical trial found that Toceranib was well tolerated in patients with metastatic breast cancer who had previously been treated with anthracyclines and taxanes. The most common adverse effects were diarrhea (in 8% of subjects), hypertension (6%), and nausea (3%).
