Trifluoromethaneboron-14% in methanol is an antioxidant that has been shown to inhibit the oxidation of fatty acids. It is a reactive compound that can be detected using fluorescein angiography. Trifluoromethaneboron-14% in methanol has been shown to have antioxidative properties and inhibits lipid peroxidation. Trifluoromethaneboron-14% in methanol has also been shown to inhibit cationic polymerization and acylation reactions, such as triglyceride lipase.
