2-(trifluoromethoxy)benzenesulfonyl Chloride is a pharmaceutical preparation that is used to treat inflammatory bowel disease. It has been shown to have therapeutic effects for the treatment of bowel disease, depression, and Alzheimer's Disease. This drug can be used as an anti-inflammatory and anti-emetic agent. 2-(trifluoromethoxy)benzenesulfonyl Chloride binds to glucocorticoid receptors in the brain and also inhibits dopamine d3 receptors in the colon. This drug also inhibits coagulation by inhibiting thrombin activity.
2-(trifluoromethoxy)benzenesulfonyl Chloride has a structural formula of CHClFOSO2CHSCHFOSO2CHCl.
