Informação sobre produto
Trans-4-aminocyclohexane carboxylic acid (TACA) is a prodrug that has been shown to be effective in the treatment of chronic renal proximal tubular acidosis. TACA is a stable complex with ester hydrochloride, which is responsible for its high stability in human serum. This drug has been shown to have no matrix effect on LC-MS/MS methods and was found to be safe in clinical studies. Sample preparation should include liquid-liquid extraction or solid phase microextraction, as TACA is not soluble in water. Trans-4-aminocyclohexane carboxylic acid is a 3-mercaptopropionic acid derivate that can be used as an alternative to acetazolamide in the treatment of chronic renal proximal tubular acidosis.
