- Titanium-manganese alloy
Titanium-manganese alloy is an alloy that is used in coatings because of its synergistic effect. It can be used to produce corrosion-resistant, biocompatible, and chemically resistant coatings. Titanium-manganese alloy has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacteria by inhibiting sulfate reduction, which leads to a decrease in hydrochloric acid production. It also has a synergistic effect with ammonium sulfate and hydrofluoric acid. The coating provides resistance against chloride ions and transition metals such as iron and copper.
