Testosterone 17-phenylpropionate is an ester of testosterone with the chemical name of testosterone 17-phenylpropionate. This drug is a synthetic androgen that is used for the treatment of male hypogonadism, delayed puberty, and breast cancer in women. Testosterone 17-phenylpropionate has been shown to have similar effects as other forms of testosterone, including increasing protein synthesis and reducing protein degradation. It also increases blood levels of high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol, which may help protect against cardiovascular disease. The detection time for this drug can be detected up to three weeks after the last dose was taken. Detection times are increased in patients who are obese or have chronic exposure to the drug.
