Descrição:Thianthrene-1-boronic acid is a boronic acid that has been shown to have antiproliferative activity against breast cancer cells. It is a ligand that binds to the estrogen receptor, which is expressed in breast cancer cells. Thianthrene-1-boronic acid was found to have significant antiproliferative activity against various cancer cell lines, including MCF7 and MDA-MB231, when tested at concentrations of 0.5 µM. The compound was also found to have anti-tumour effects in mice with implanted human breast cancer cells.
