Informação sobre produto
- N-(2,4-Dichlorobenzoyl)-5-bromothiophene-2-sulfonamide
Tasisulam is a monoclonal antibody that is designed to bind to epidermal growth factor (EGF). It has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells and induce apoptosis. Tasisulam also has antiangiogenic properties, which may be due to its ability to block the production of VEGF. Tasisulam has been shown to have no significant side effects on healthy cells or tissues, but does show some toxicity in vitro assays. It also interacts with other drugs and may cause drug interactions. Tasisulam is being studied for its potential use in the treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer and other solid tumours.
Tasisulam has shown promise as an anti-cancer compound because it inhibits the EGF receptor, which is a molecule that helps regulate cell division and growth. Tasisulam binds to the EGF receptor, blocking its activity and preventing it from binding with EGF, thus inhibiting cancer
