• Descrição: Tris-Boc-spermine is a fluorescent probe that can be used to detect the presence of selenide ions. It is also an antibacterial agent that has been shown to inhibit the growth of Gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus subtilis. Tris-Boc-spermine binds to phospholipids in the outer membrane of the bacterial cell wall and inhibits bacterial growth by disrupting the normal function of glycerophospholipid synthesis. Tris-Boc-spermine has been used for treatment against cancer cells, as well as for diagnostic purposes.
