Informação sobre produto
- Thiophene-2,3-Dicarbaldehyde
2,3-Thiophenedicarboxaldehyde is a macrocyclic compound that is insoluble in water. It is unreactive and does not undergo cycloaddition reactions. 2,3-Thiophenedicarboxaldehyde has been used to synthesize the macrocyclic compound 1,2-bis(dimethylamino)ethane by reaction with formaldehyde. This product has been shown to be magnetic and possesses axial chirality. The yield of this reaction is low due to the formation of imine products. 2,3-Thiophenedicarboxaldehyde has also been used to synthesize a macrocyclic compound containing two chlorinated methoxy groups on the ring. The skeleton of this product was diffracted by X-ray crystallography and found to have a molecular weight of 534.
