2,4,6-Trifluorobenzamide is an organic solvent that can be used as a bioavailability enhancer for drugs. It has been shown to increase the animal bioavailability of many compounds with low water solubility. This chemical is also a ligand in coordination chemistry and binds to metal ions by chelation.
