Informação sobre produto
Triethylamine trifluoroacetate is a chemical compound that is synthesized in the liquid phase. It is used as an intermediate for the synthesis of imidazopyridine drugs, such as Antabuse. Triethylamine trifluoroacetate has a high yield and can be obtained from piperazine with an acidic reaction. This compound has two functional groups, one hydroxyl and one carboxylic acid. The carboxylic acid group can be converted to an amide and the hydroxyl group can be oxidized to form a phenol group. The ethylene group is also involved in this synthesis process. Triethylamine trifluoroacetate is also used in animal studies as an inflammatory disease inhibitor and has been shown to reduce inflammation by inhibiting prostaglandin production.
