Descrição:
2,2,2,2'-Tetrafluoroacetophenone is a heterobicyclic compound that can be used as an analog for dopamine. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of hyperproliferative cells in animal models and may be useful for the treatment of tumor diseases. This drug also has anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the production of fatty acids. 2,2,2,2'-Tetrafluoroacetophenone is synthesized by reacting butyraldehyde with carbon dioxide at high pressure and temperature.
