• Descrição: 2,2,2-trifluoroethyl methyl ether is a chemical compound belonging to the group of vinyl ethers. It can be used as an additive in the production of polymers and resins. The reaction system consists of a hydrocarbon, a fluorine element, and a liquid crystal composition. The hydrocarbon can be either an organic solvent or an actuation agent. Additives are also used in this process to improve the properties of the polymer or resin. 2,2,2-Trifluoroethyl methyl ether is used for the preparation of polymers for use in rechargeable batteries by adding it to the liquid crystal composition. It reacts with magnesium and metallocene catalysts to form molecules that contain hydroxyl groups. This product has been shown to have strong inhibition effects against cancer cell lines from human breast cancer cells and colon cancer cells.
