2-(Trifluoromethyl)-1H-imidazo[4,5-b]pyridine is a fine chemical that is used as a building block in the synthesis of other chemicals. It can be used as a reagent for the synthesis of pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals. 2-(Trifluoromethyl)-1H-imidazo[4,5-b]pyridine is also used as an intermediate in the production of other compounds, such as 4-substituted 1,2,3-triazoles and 5-substituted 1,2,3-triazoles.
