1,2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6-Undecafluorocyclohexane-1-sulfonyl fluoride is a fluorinated reagent that is used for cross-linking and as a reagent in organic synthesis. This compound has been shown to react with hydrogen peroxide to form the highly reactive hydroxyl radical. The presence of an alicyclic structure and a trifluoromethyl group make this compound useful for reactions involving alkyl halides and other electron-deficient substrates. 1,2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5,6 6-Undecafluorocyclohexane-1-sulfonyl fluoride has also been shown to react with iron ions and acid groups.
