Informação sobre produto
- 4-Thiazolecarboxylic acid, 2-methyl-, methyl ester
- Methyl 2-methyl-1,3-thiazole-4-carboxylate
Methyl 2-methylthiazole-4-carboxylate is an organic compound which can be synthesized in a two-step reaction sequence. The first step involves the oxidative cleavage of a C-H bond to provide a carboxylic acid, which is then coupled with methyl iodide to produce the desired product. This reaction sequence is highly efficient and provides a high yield (91%) of methyl 2-methylthiazole-4-carboxylate.
