Cyclohexanecarboxylic acid isopropyl ester (CHI) is an organic compound that has a reactive functional group. It is used as an inhibitor in the treatment of inflammatory diseases, such as arthritis, gout, and asthma. CHI also has a role in the management of pain and inflammation caused by trauma or surgery. CHI inhibits the production of arachidonic acid and thromboxane A2, which are involved in causing pain and inflammation.
