Informação sobre produto
Sphingosine is a long-chain fatty acid that belongs to the group of galactolipids. It is a lipid found in lung and endometrial tissues, as well as in the blood. It has been shown to be involved in chronic lymphocytic leukemia and apoptosis (cell death). Sphingosine has also been implicated in the etiology of thalassaemia and Parkinson's disease. The lipidome profile of sphingosine has been analyzed, revealing that it consists mainly of diacylglycerol, fatty acids, and ceramide. Sphingosine may also have bioactive properties such as anti-inflammatory effects and anti-cancer activity.
