Informação sobre produto
- benzenesulfonamide, N-(3-aminopropyl)-4-methyl-
N-(3-Aminopropyl)-4-methylbenzenesulfonamide (AMPBS) is a drug that has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. It binds to copper ions, which are found in the active sites of proteins such as COX-1 and COX-2. AMPBS has also been shown to have an effect on protein structures and assembly, as well as on the density of proteins. The molecular geometry of this drug has been determined using a number of techniques, such as X-ray crystallography, NMR spectroscopy, and FTIR spectroscopy. The bonding between copper ions in AMPBS and the protein active site is through intermolecular hydrogen bonding.
