It also inhibits the growth of MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells and induces apoptosis by activating caspase 3 and 7. 2,2',4,6,6'-Pentachlorobiphenyl has been found to induce apoptosis in MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells by inhibiting the activation of ERK1/2 and JNK pathways.
