2-(4-Bromo-phenyl)-3-piperazin-1-ylmethyl-imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine is a compound that can be used for the treatment of cervical cancer. It inhibits mitochondrial membrane potential and has been shown to have anti-tuberculosis drug activity in mice. This compound also shows an inhibitory effect on skin cancer and may have a role in preventing or treating redox potentials in cells. 2-(4-Bromo-phenyl)-3-piperazin-1-ylmethyl-imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine is metabolized through multiple pathways, including hydrolysis by esterases, oxidation by cytochrome P450 enzymes, reduction by glutathione reductase, conjugation with glucuronic acid, or hydrolysis by esterases. It also binds to fatty acids and has been shown to inhibit enzyme activities
