Descrição:Betulone is a fatty acid that is found in the bark of the white birch tree. It has been shown to inhibit inflammatory bowel disease, as well as cancer and HIV infection. Betulone also has minimal toxicity and significant cytotoxicity, with no side effects observed in clinical studies. This compound has been shown to be effective against cancer cells, especially cervical cancer. Betulone inhibits protein synthesis by binding to ribosomes and inhibiting protein synthesis. It also prevents the formation of new cells by binding to DNA during the process of mitosis.
