2,4-Dimethoxy-6-methylpyrimidine is a synthetic organic compound that is used in the synthesis of other organic compounds. 2,4-Dimethoxy-6-methylpyrimidine has been shown to have an antiproliferative effect on human fibroblasts and tumor cells. It also inhibits the growth of viruses and can inhibit the replication of diploid cells.
