Nome:Aluminum nitrate nonahydrate
Marca:Biosynth
Descrição:Aluminum nitrate nonahydrate (AN) is a chemical compound that consists of aluminum, nitrate, and water. It is an inorganic salt that has the appearance of a white crystalline powder and is soluble in water. AN has been used as an additive to produce transparent glass with high thermal expansion, which can be used for making windows or mirrors. It also has high values of thermal expansion and good hydrophilic properties. The salt decomposes at about 400°C to form hydrogen fluoride (HF). AN reacts with hydrochloric acid to form aluminum chloride (AlCl3), which may be useful for reducing chlorine levels in water vapor.
AN can be produced by reacting aluminum oxide with nitric acid or sulfuric acid. Aluminum oxide (Al2O3) is typically obtained from bauxite ore. In this process, the ore undergoes a series of steps including calcination, purification, and reduction to yield Al2O3
