Descrição:1-Phenyl-1H-indazole is a molecule that has antiinflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic properties. It has been shown to inhibit the production of aldehydes such as prostaglandin PGE2 and thromboxane A2, which are involved in the inflammatory response. 1-Phenyl-1H-indazole also inhibits platelet aggregation by means of its ability to yield an alkoxy radical. The molecule is used as a starting point for the synthesis of pyrazole derivatives with therapeutic activity against c. glabrata, which are fungi that cause mucormycosis.
