Informação sobre produto
6-Bromo-3-chloropyrazine-2-carbonitrile (BCNU) is a nucleophilic cyanation agent that is used in the treatment of malignant gliomas. BCNU works by binding to the cyano group and then reacting with the amino groups on proteins, leading to crosslinking of these proteins and cell death. BCNU has been shown to be effective against a number of different types of cancer cells, including astrocytoma cells and malignant gliomas.
