Descrição:5-Benzyl-1H-pyrazole is a small molecule that binds to the CB2 receptor and is a potent anti-inflammatory agent. It has been shown to possess antiviral potency in vitro and in vivo, with an effective dose of 0.3 μM against HIV. 5-Benzyl-1H-pyrazole also leads to insulin resistance by inhibiting glucose reabsorption by the kidneys, which may be due to its ability to inhibit renal CCR5 receptors that are involved in the uptake of glucose from the blood into the kidney cells. Further research may reveal that 5-benzyl-1H-pyrazole has cancer therapeutic potential because it can block adenosine receptors and inhibit cancer cell proliferation.
