Descrição:Cicloxilic acid is a hepatic steatosis-inducing agent that has been shown to be effective against liver injury. It is used as an excipient in pharmaceutical preparations, and has been shown to be hepatoprotective in animals. This drug also shows anti-inflammatory effects and may be useful in the treatment of hepatitis. Cicloxilic acid is lipid soluble and can be used for the treatment of high blood pressure, by preventing the synthesis of fatty acids and cholesterol. The dosage for cicloxilic acid is typically 250-500 mg three times a day, but should not exceed 2 g per day.
