Informação sobre produto
N-Oleoyl-L-serine is a phosphatase inhibitor that has been shown to be effective in the treatment of osteoporosis. It inhibits the activity of the enzyme protein phosphatase 2A, which is involved in bone resorption and thereby prevents bone loss. N-Oleoyl-L-serine was found to inhibit the activation of runx2, a transcription factor that regulates osteoclast formation, by inhibiting kinase signaling pathways. The effect on osteoclast formation was confirmed by staining cells with hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) and polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The most effective dose was determined to be 10 mg/kg body weight. N-Oleoyl-L-serine also inhibited histological analysis of mouse tibia, leading to decreased bone resorption.
