3-(Difluoromethyl)-6-phenyl-7H-[1,2,4]triazolo[3,4-b][1,3,4]thiadiazine is an anticancer drug that inhibits the activity of influenza virus by binding to neuraminidase and preventing it from cleaving sialic acid. It has been shown to have cancer-fighting properties against a variety of cancers including leukemia cells. 3-(Difluoromethyl)-6-phenyl-7H-[1,2,4]triazolo[3,4-b][1,3,4]thiadiazine binds to the enzyme caspases and inhibits their activity. This reduces the production of proteins that are involved in cell growth and death. The drug also stabilizes hypophosphorous acid (HPO) in the urine which prevents the formation of phosphorous acid (HPO) and desulfurization
