Descrição:GDC-0575 is a potent, selective, and orally available inhibitor of the voltage-gated potassium channel Kv1.3. It has been shown to inhibit Kv1.3 in both native and recombinant systems with an IC50 of less than 1 nM for both channels. GDC-0575 has been shown to have no effect on other voltage-gated ion channels tested, such as Kv2.1 and Kv4.2, which are expressed in many tissues including the brain, heart, and skeletal muscle. GDC-0575 is also selective for Kv1.3 over other closely related ion channels such as Kv4.2 and Shaker B channels (Kv1) with inhibition constants in the low nanomolar range.
