Guajadial is a natural product that belongs to the family of guaianolides. This compound has been found in an acetate extract of the bark of the South American tree Guajacum sanctum. Guajadial has shown cytotoxic activity against cancer cells and is being studied for its use as a chemotherapeutic agent.
