2-(4-Methoxyphenyl)-N-(3-piperidin-1-ylpropyl)quinolin-4-amine is a potent and selective inhibitor of the ɣ opioid receptor. This compound has been used as a pharmacological tool to study the interactions of peptides with proteins, as well as to study ion channels and receptors. 2-(4-Methoxyphenyl)-N-(3-piperidin-1-ylpropyl)quinolin-4-amine binds to the ɣ opioid receptor, preventing it from interacting with other proteins, which leads to decreased activity at this receptor. 2-(4-Methoxyphenyl)-N-(3-piperidin-1-ylpropyl)quinolin-4-amine is highly pure and has CAS No. 1908414 - 42 - 5.
