Informação sobre produto
- tert-Butyl [2-oxo-2-(pyrrolidin-1-yl)ethyl]carbamate
1-(Boc-amino-acetyl)-pyrrolidine is a synthetic polymerization inhibitor that prevents the propagation of polymer chains by inhibiting the formation of covalent bonds between monomers. It is used in the synthesis of polymers and is a component of the polymerization process. 1-(Boc-amino-acetyl)-pyrrolidine inhibits the growth of bacteria, such as Escherichia coli, by preventing intermolecular hydrogen bonding with labile molecules that are necessary for bacterial cell wall biosynthesis. The inhibition of these labile molecules leads to cell death by causing a loss in cell wall integrity. The antimicrobial activity of 1-(Boc-amino-acetyl)-pyrrolidine may also be due to its ability to form monolayers on aluminium surfaces. Monolayers formed on aluminium surfaces have been shown to inhibit photophysical processes, such as electron transfer and fluorescence quenching.
