Descrição:5-Bromoisoxazole is a trisubstituted, biochemical that has been shown to have therapeutic potential for the treatment of autoimmune diseases. It is a metabolite of some drugs such as retinoic acid and can be synthesized from isoxazoles. 5-Bromoisoxazole has been shown to inhibit IL-17A as well as other cytokines. It also inhibits IL-6 production in human fibroblasts. 5-Bromoisoxazole has shown antiinflammatory properties and may be useful in treating inflammatory bowel disease, psoriasis, or arthritis. This drug also has pharmacokinetic properties that make it well suited for oral administration and may have a role in the treatment of cancer.
