Erteberel is a drug that has been shown to be effective for the treatment of breast cancer. Erteberel is a potent inhibitor of x-ray crystal structures and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase activity. Erteberel is being studied as a diagnostic agent for myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs), which are white blood cells that suppress immune responses and play an important role in the development of metastatic cancer.
