Zilpaterol hydrochlorid is a non-selective beta adrenergic receptor agonist that has been shown to inhibit the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-6 and TNF-α. Zilpaterol hydrochlorid also has ion channel regulating properties, which can be used as a research tool in pharmacology, cell biology, and biochemistry. This drug has been shown to stimulate the production of glucagon and insulin in the pancreas by stimulating the beta adrenergic receptors. Zilpaterol hydrochlorid may be used for treatment of diabetes mellitus type 2.

Zilpaterol hydrochlorid is an ion channel activator that acts on beta adrenergic receptors. It stimulates the production of glucagon and insulin in the pancreas by binding to beta adrenergic receptors. It may be used for treatment of diabetes mellitus type 2.
