Descrição:Ogerin is a monoclonal antibody that binds to the receptor for fatty acids and has been shown to have physiological function in the microenvironment. It blocks the inflammatory response of the bowel by preventing inflammatory cells from binding to endothelial cells and may be clinically relevant for treatment of inflammatory bowel disease. Ogerin also has been shown to bind to histidine residues on proteins, which could be important for its ability to inhibit proton secretion by ileal epithelial cells.
