BTS 54-505 is a drug that acts as a dopamine receptor agonist. It is used to treat Parkinson's disease and other diseases of the central nervous system. This drug binds to the target enzyme, which is responsible for the uptake of neurotransmitters into nerve cells, and increases the activity of neurotransmitters in the brain. Dopamine also affects blood pressure by stimulating alpha-adrenergic receptors. BTS 54-505 has been shown to be effective in treating congestive heart failure, metabolic disorders, and depression, among other conditions. The effective dose of this drug varies depending on body mass index (BMI).
