Descrição:2-Methylthiophene-3-carboxaldehyde is an alliin ligand with a monosubstituted divinylbenzene. The nature of the substituents on the divinylbenzenes was determined by analysis. The cyclopentadienyl rings in the heterocycle were synthesized by copolymerization and characterized by chromatography. The synthetic scheme for 2-methylthiophene-3-carboxaldehyde is shown in Figure 1, and the headspace profile is shown in Figure 2.
