SZ1676 is a peptide that binds to the extracellular domain of the chemokine receptor CXCR4. This binding inhibits the activation of this receptor, which is involved in inflammatory responses and the development of cancer. SZ1676 has been shown to inhibit tumor growth and metastasis, as well as reduce inflammation in animal models. SZ1676 is an activator of G protein-coupled receptors, including muscarinic receptors, serotonin receptors, adrenergic receptors, histamine receptors and endothelin receptors.
