1-(4-Fluorophenyl)-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxylic acid 2-[thioxo[[3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]amino]methyl]hydrazide is a high purity and potent inhibitor of the human IgE receptor. It can also be used as a research tool for cell biology, pharmacology, and ligand studies. 1-(4-Fluorophenyl)-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxylic acid 2-[thioxo[[3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]amino]methyl]hydrazide binds to the FcεRI alpha subunit of the human IgE receptor and inhibits its activity. This inhibition prevents the activation of mast cells and basophils, which are involved in allergic reactions.
