Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17 is an amino acid sequence that can be synthesized in a solid phase synthesis. This peptide is also used in nutritional supplements for women who are undergoing menopause and are experiencing hot flashes or hair loss. A tolerability study was conducted on 16 healthy female volunteers with no medical history of allergy to formaldehyde or other preservatives, including hyaluronate and vitamin B1.
