Informação sobre produto
- 1-Chloro-4-iodo-[2,7]naphthyridine
- 2,7-Naphthyridine, 1-chloro-4-iodo-
1-Chloro-4-iodo-2,7-naphthyridine is an analog of naphthyridine. It can be synthesized by the metalation of 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline with the chloroformate in the presence of potassium tert-butoxide. This reaction will produce a mixture of three isomeric products. The regioselective synthesis of 1-chloro-4-iodo-2,7-naphthyridine can be achieved by using NBS as a reagent instead of NCS. In this case, only one isomer will be obtained and it will have the desired configuration at the 2 position.
